About Pivot

Twenty years of helping companies sell, market and serve better.

Pivot has been in business since 2005 and a HubSpot partner and customer since 2014. We started in the AV industry and still go deepest there, and today we help B2B companies in manufacturing, solar, home services and tech get more from HubSpot: clean data, connected systems, reporting people trust and AI that works.

Named after one of Jane’s four cats.

5full-time people

A small senior team, with room to grow

Five full-time people, so the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and you never get handed to a junior team. For bigger projects we add contract and partner specialists we’ve worked with for years, managed by us, under the same fixed price. You get one team and one point of contact, however big the project gets. Oscar, our AI agent, isn’t in that count: he answers first, and hands anything complex to one of the five of us.

Our story

Why we only work with HubSpot.

We spent years looking for the right platform for our clients. When we found it, we stopped looking.

  1. 2005 · Pivot foundedStarted by Jane after working inside an AV manufacturer. Our early work was content, and it won Stevie Awards and other content awards. We got into marketing automation and sales enablement early.
  2. The searchWe were a Marketo partner, then worked with Act-On, SharpSpring, ActiveDemand and Campaigner. Each was too costly, too complicated or too thin on the sales side for our clients.
  3. 2013–2014 · We found HubSpotWe found HubSpot in 2013, and in 2014 became a HubSpot partner and a customer, running our own business on it.
  4. 2025 · Platinum againWe’ve reached Platinum more than once, most recently in 2025, and we’re working toward Diamond.
  5. Today · HubSpot onlyWe only work with companies on HubSpot or evaluating it. It’s that good, and HubSpot keeps making it better. We’ve evolved with the technology and the market: today we automate and improve marketing, sales, service, operations and revenue on HubSpot’s Agentic Customer Platform.
How we work

Four things we won't compromise on.

Context first

Your data, knowledge and rules before features, so reporting, automation and AI work from day one.

Straight answers

What you need, what you don’t, and one fixed price before we build.

Built to last

Monitoring, documentation and training, so the setup still works a year later. It’s why clients stay.

Show, don’t claim

Live demos, free tools and real builds. We describe clients by what they do, never by name.

By the numbers

What twenty years adds up to.

For executives

Will we still be here in three years? Yes.

The biggest risk with a HubSpot partner isn’t the first project. It’s being acquired, absorbed or gone when you need them. Here’s why that doesn’t apply to Pivot, and what protects you if it ever did.

Ownership

Founder-owned and not for sale

Jane founded Pivot in 2005 and still runs it. The partner you start with is the partner you’ll have in three years.

Finances

Profitable, with no debt

No debt and no outside investors pushing for an exit, so nobody is waiting to sell Pivot.

Continuity

You own everything we build

Your configuration lives in your HubSpot. Custom code lives in a GitHub repo you own, with documentation. Your team or another partner could pick it up without starting over.

93.7%gross revenue retention

Why 93.7% matters if you’re moving to HubSpot

Moving your team to HubSpot takes real time and money, so you need to know it will work. Our retention shows what happens after the move: once we’ve onboarded your team and set HubSpot up, you stay on it, because your team uses it and it’s paying off. We help you succeed with HubSpot, and our numbers show it.

How it’s measured: HubSpot calculates this on our partner dashboard. It’s the share of revenue retained from the clients we manage, averaged over the last 12 months as of October 2026, and it counts every cancellation and downgrade. Most of our work is month to month, so clients stay because it’s working, not because a contract says so.

Before you sign with anyone

Five questions to ask before approving HubSpot

Ask any partner, including us. If they can’t answer all five honestly, that’s your answer.

  1. What’s the all-in cost over 3 years?HubSpot licenses, implementation and ongoing support, not just year one.
  2. How will it connect to our critical systems?Your ERP, accounting and industry software, and who keeps those connections running.
  3. What’s the plan if it isn’t working in year one? What gets measured, when, and what happens if the numbers don’t move.
  4. Who owns the data, the setup and the custom code?It should be you, in writing, with documentation.
  5. What does year three look like? Are we still relying on the partner, or have we built our own capability?
